Hyundai Redesigns the Accent for 2018

Hyundai has officially announced the 2018 Accent, and has given it a bit of a redesign to separate it from its predecessors. The redesign will also make Oklahomans driving the new 2018 Accent stand out from the crowd.

With its debut at the 2017 auto show in Toronto, the 2018 Accent has been expanded with a slightly longer and wider frame. But aside from the expansion, the Accent returns with its expected sleek and smooth design that also displays a hint of luxury at an affordable cost.

This new car will be equipped with a 1.6-liter inline-four engine producing a functional 132-horsepower and 119 lb-ft of torque, being available in both six-speed automatic and manual. Hyundai has also has stated that the fuel efficiency of the Accent will increase by 7 percent, compared to last year's model which had mpg splits of 37/27 highway/city.

The interior of the 2018 Accent received a very attractive boost. It comes installed with a fully equipped dash, including a 7.0-inch touch screen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rear-view camera, heated seats, emergency braking and numerous safety options.

Pricing for the 2018 Hyundai Accent have not yet been released, but are expected to be similar to last year's model's release price of $15,830. For any questions you may have regarding the Accent, please contact us at Edmond Hyundai.
