What's the difference between Bluelink and Bluelink+?

Bluelink and Bluelink+ both offer the same services, such as being able to remotely start your Hyundai, lock or unlock the doors, schedule EV battery charging and more. The difference is in how you pay for them.

Bluelink, which is available on most 2023 and older Hyundai models (except IONIQ 6), is complimentary for the first 3 years with a new vehicle purchase. After that, you’ll pay a low monthly fee to continue your subscription.
For 2023 IONIQ 6 and all 2024 and newer Hyundai models, Bluelink+ is at no charge for all IONIQ 6 original owners.
To learn more, visit our Bluelink+ page.

I already own a Hyundai. Is it too late to get Bluelink?

Of course not! If your Hyundai is equipped with Bluelink, you can enroll at any time. Simply register or log in on the owner’s portal at owners.hyundaiusa.com, and click to enroll in Bluelink. You’ll just need your VIN (vehicle identification number located on the driver's side dashboard) and a credit card.

If I currently subscribe to Bluelink, can I upgrade my subscription to BlueLink+?

Unfortunately, no. Bluelink+ is only available for 2023 IONIQ 6 and all 2024 and newer Hyundai models. To learn more, visit our Bluelink+ page.

Where can I learn more about how BlueLink features work?

These quick "how to" videos will tell you more about each Bluelink feature.

What are the BlueLink packages, and how much do they cost? Do you offer a la carte features?

There are three Bluelink packages: Connected Care, Remote and Guidance. After the trial period is over, each package is available for $99/year or $9.90/month. The Remote Package gives you convenient access to features via the web or smartphone app. You can Remote Start your car, use Remote Climate Control (if equipped), unlock/lock your doors or locate your car when you forget where you parked it. The Guidance Package provides more than just the quickest route to your destination. Destination Search.

Why do I need to use a credit card to enroll in a BlueLink trail offer?

A credit card is not required to enroll in the 3 year complimentary trial but by signing up for auto-renewal with a credit card, you will ensure continued services after the complementary year trial period comes to an end. Your credit card will be charged at the end of your complimentary trial period. As a courtesy, you will receive a timely reminder before your credit card is charged with the current Bluelink subscription rate.

Why should I purchase additional years of service during my BlueLink enrollment?

Purchasing additional years of service during enrollment makes you eligible for discounted rates and provides you with the convenience of uninterrupted service. You can view the discount pricing during enrollment on owners.hyundaiusa.com.

What is the trial period for Pre-Owned and Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicles?

A three-month trial for Connected Care, Remote and Guidance is available when you enroll (credit card required). Please visit your preferred Hyundai dealer for assistance with Bluelink enrollment.
