Ah, driver’s education; the boring hours upon hours of extra class work that our parents made us take. The most valuable part of driver’s education, in my opinion, was the personal and hands-on tutelage behind the wheel with an instructor in the car with you. While the classroom may give you some tips and tricks on safe driving your parents may have overlooked when letting you drive around an empty parking lot, the experience of getting on the road with a teacher is invaluable. While the experience may not keep you from getting in a wreck your first year driving, it will at least help keep you from panicking and make the accident less worse than it could have been.
