In fact, Feherty uses that “driving” juxtaposition between vehicle driving and golf in his new advertisements. As Feherty says “Hyundai’s goal is the perfect drive for every golfer from fairway to highway, and who better than a guy like me who analyzes drives for a living to provide tips on the company’s behalf? I think the ads and partnership will resonate with golf fans; they were an absolute blast to film. And who doesn’t love a little bit of witty Irish humor?”
In his role as the very first Hyundai Golf Ambassador, Feherty will be making appearances at golf events sponsored by Hyundai Motor Corp, leading initiatives in the world of golf and starring in Hyundai commercials that will premiere during his show, Feherty, on the Golf Channel. Feherty is certainly a great choice for this new initiative, seeing as he has 10 worldwide golf victories, and after retiring in 1997 has been a golf analyst and commentator for CBS.
Feherty’s commercials will focus on the new 2015 Hyundai Genesis and he will provide driving tips on everything from navigation to focus to form.
