What has four wheels, a 3.8L V6 engine and is visible from outer space? If you guessed the 2015 Hyundai Genesis, you’d be right.

In a recent Guinness World Record feat, Hyundai tapped the all-new Genesis to help one lucky 13-year-old girl send a special message to her father. The catch: He was standing approximately 220 miles away, holding down his post as an astronaut in outer space. While we can’t say for certain, we’re hoping he could also see us at Edmond Hyundai near Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

So how did Hyundai do it? Using a host of designers, engineers and professional drivers – over the course of several weeks – the team surveyed several open spaces and scaled a simple but profound message in Genesis tracks: “Steph <3s you.” The hand-driven message measured 5.5 square kilometers, an area larger than Central Park, spanning an enormous area across the Delamar Dry Lake.

In reference to the phenomenal display, Hyundai brand Creative Director Gun Ho Park shared the following: “A car can be more than just a means of transportation, but a lifetime partner to consumers.”

We couldn’t agree more. For 2015, the Genesis boasts an impressive set of features, including an optional panoramic sunroof, premium 18-inch alloy wheels and a hands-free smart trunk, all of which evoke an intrinsic sense of power and influence within drivers. In the same way Steph shared a special message with her father, the Genesis is giving drivers all across Oklahoma City an opportunity to express themselves and connect with the ones they care about most.

Be sure to stop by Edmond Hyundai to see what it feels like to get behind the wheel of the 2015 Hyundai Genesis today.
